How to Color a Cute Strawberry: A Step-by-Step Tutorial

In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to color a cute strawberry using simple steps and blending techniques.

Materials Needed:

• Colored pencils or markers (red, pink, green, yellow)

• White acrylic marker, gelly rolll pen

Step 1: Base Layer

Define light source and fill the lightest area of the strawberry with yellow. Use light, even strokes to ensure smooth coverage. 

Add different shades of red to the strawberry. 

Step 2: Add Shadows and Depth

Using a darker red, shade the edges and bottom of the strawberry to create depth. Blend gently into the lighter areas to create a smooth transition.

Step 3: Add the seeds and highlight for a glossy effect

Using dark red to draw small teardrop-shaped seeds. Outline them lightly with a white highlight to make them stand out.

Leave small oval areas near the top uncolored or use a white pencil to add highlights. This creates a shiny, fresh look.

Step 4: Color the Leaves

Use a bright green for the leaves and stem. Then, apply a darker green around the edges and base to add dimension.

Step 5: Final Touches

Add some particle for more magical touch.
