Share
In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to blend fiery hues, add highlights, and achieve the natural movement of flames.
Materials Needed:
-
Alcohol markers (yellow, orange, red, deep red, and black)
-
White acrylic pen
-
White Gelly Roll pen
Step 1: Base Layer with Yellow
Fill the inner parts of the flames with yellow. This will be the hottest and brightest part of the fire.
Step 3: Add Orange for Depth
Use an orange marker to color around the yellow areas, blending slightly into the yellow to create a smooth transition.
Step 4: Introduce Red for Intensity
Apply red along the outer edges of the flames, blending it into the orange. Keep the red at the flame tips and outermost areas.
Step 5: Add particles
Add some flying particle around the flame.
And that’s it!
